Washington, D.C. (PRWEB) June 3, 2006
The Human Capital Institute (HCI), a global professional association and educator in talent management strategies, announced today it will host a series of events where C-level executives from some of today's most innovative talent acquisition companies share insights about current practices and talk about what's coming next.
Panelists include Hans Gieskes, President, CEO & Co-Founder of H3.com; Doug La Pasta, Founder, Chairman, and Chief Strategy Officer of SkillSurvey; Jim Povec, Principal of Padgett Performance Group; Chris Forman, CEO of AIRS; and Bryan Burdick, Chief Operating Officer of ZoomInfo. The panel discussion will be moderated by Bill Craib, Director of HCI's Acquisition Community.
In the half-day session, called "Talent Acquisition Through Innovation: Early Adopters Will Win the War for Talent," participants will learn about the landscape of new and emerging recruitment tools, including advanced talent sourcing, innovative employee referral, and candidate selection solutions--and how to determine which are most suitable for their needs.
The Talent Acquisition Through Innovation tour will kick off June 28 in Boston and continue on to other major markets through the second half of the year. The inaugural session will be held at Doubletree Guest Suites, 400 Soldiers Field Road in Boston, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. ET.
The event opens with a complimentary, networking breakfast; it is followed by the panel discussion, which concludes with a question and answer session.
"As the economy heats up and labor markets tighten, organizations need an edge to stay ahead of the competition. Early adopters of cutting-edge recruitment and selection technologies can gain sustainable competitive advantage and achieve higher quality of hire by betting on the right tools and mastering them before they become mainstream," said Allan Schweyer, HCI's President & Executive Director. "This is an opportunity to learn about those tools from industry leaders."
