Fans Of Starting Over Outraged
Fans are Starting Over are fighting to save the show. Online Petitions and calling NBC.
(PRWEB) June 3, 2006 -- Fans are outraged and flooding NBC's phone lines with what is said to be thousands of calls a day.
Members of www.womencomfortwomen.com heard in February 06 that the show was in jeopardy of being cancelled and launched a petition and writing campaign to save the show.
Site owner Debbie Cochran says there have been so many calls to NBC's switchboard that NBC has set up a voicemail where fans can leave their messages about what the show means to them. She urges everyone to call and voice their feelings about how Starting Over has changed their life. A show like this is a lifeline to Women and their families. Its amazing the many women I meet and talk to daily on my message board www.womencomfortwomen.com that this show has touched, its a lifeline to many, says Cochran.
Thousands have signed the petition, which can be found at http://new.petitiononline.com/DC0531/petition.html . We continue to Fax and mail hard copies of the petition to NBC, Bunim Murray which produces the show, and the Sponsors. The phone lines will continue to ring.
An Administrator of www.womencomfortwomen.com has been in contact with a Producer from Starting Over and they tell us that they believe in the show and what it means to Women everywhere. They want to continue the show and are behind the fans 100% to fight to keep it on the air.
