Many distributors are returning from Cannes with money in their pockets and holes in their fall release schedule. Inferno Film Productions has a solution.
Inferno Film Productions, LLC, a Colorado-based movie production and sales company, is offering a great lineup of quality independent movies for distribution this year. The product line includes 35mm features, 16mm features, HD features, and DV features and shorts in all genres.
Inferno has recently added the sci-fi cult classic, Star Warp'd, which is available in all territories. Star Warp'd combines film footage, clay animation, and computer animation into a parody that leaves little in the genre unscathed. Nichelle Nichols (Lt. Uhuru on Star Trek) said this about Star Warp'd: "Simply hilarious! The best sci-fi parody ever!"
A fantastic companion to Star Warp'd is Red Letter Media's Oranges: Revenge of the Eggplant, an action-packed, fruit-exploding adventure! This animated movie uses real fruits and vegetables as charactors. Inferno just signed a UK DVD distribution deal for Oranges:ROTE but is expecting more contracts soon.
Other recent additions to Inferno's catalog include the sexy action flick, Alice In Wasteland, which is still for available for distribution all territories, and Cassava Films' thriller, Serial Slayer, which was released on DVD in US Canada by Lionsgate Home Entertainment and has sold rights in Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Norway, Russia, Ukraine, Thailand and the UK.
If you are looking for romantic comedies, we have the exquisite HD feature, Breaking & Entering, and the quirky Kisses & Caroms. Kevin Smith, Director of Clerks and Dogma said this about Kisses & Caroms: "Crackling with strong performances, this sexy little day-in-the-lifer is worth your time." A major US distributor is bringing Kisses & Caroms out on DVD later this year in the US and Canada, and it is already available on DVD in Brazil, but there are still plenty of territories left. Inferno just sold the Brazil DVD distribution rights to Breaking & Entering, but this HD gem is a sleeper that should be everywhere soon.
Distributors needing horror or science fiction? Try The Inn or Terrarium (aka War of the Planets). The Inn is a classic style horror film featuring dolls made from real babies who seek revenge. Brazil home video rights to The Inn are gone, but all other distribution rights are still available. Lionsgate brought out this science fiction thriller originally entitled Terrarium,on DVD in the US and Canada late last year as War of the Planets. Thailand, US and Canada rights are sold, but there are more territories available.
Also in Inferno's catalog are the action movies, Drawing Down the Moon, starring Walter Koenig, and Dragon and the Hawk, featuring Trygve Lode; the romantic comedies Be Somebody and Finding Electra; the unique black and white horror feature Hannah House which has already sold to the UK and most of Eastern Europe; and Bruce Campbell's dramatic debut: Going Back. For family entertainment, Inferno has also Get Goosed and The Little Horse That Could.
