Intel Makes Strategic Investment In PhaseLink Corporation
PhaseLink Corporation, a fabless semiconductor IC company specializing in high performance frequency timing generation solutions for digital consumer, communication, and storage products markets, today announced that Intel Capital, Intel Corporation’s venture investment organization, has invested in the company for an undisclosed amount.

(PRWEB) June 5, 2006 -- PhaseLink Corporation, a fabless semiconductor IC company specializing in high performance frequency timing generation solutions for digital consumer, communication, and storage products markets, today announced that Intel Capital, Intel Corporation’s venture investment organization, has invested in the company for an undisclosed amount.
Cadol Cheung, Managing Director, Intel Capital Asia Pacific, stated: “By this investment Intel hopes to enable PhaseLink to bring new and innovative technologies to market.”
PhaseLink is expected to use the funding to expand its market segment share in Timing Source ICs by accelerating technology development, strengthening its intellectual property portfolio, expanding its sales organization, and enhancing customer support services.

High performance systems have stringent performance requirements on clock sources.
