TIME OUT SPOTS was one of the hand selected vendors invited to participate in this incredible event. Time Out Spots were the talk of the Boom Boom Room. Hollywood moms such as Ming Na of ER, Joely Fisher of Desperate Housewives, Melissa Hart, Shar Jackson, Tisha Campbell Martin of My Wife and Kids, and Tichina Arnold of Everybody Hates Chris received Time Out Spots products for their tinsel town tots. After being told that a favorite toy could be placed in “time out” for behavior modification, Ming Na thought that Time Out Spots were the ”best thing” at the Boom Boom Room. She even told Extra’s TV cameras about them. Ming also received a “Mommy Needs a Time Out” t-shirt for herself. Shar Jackson added a “Mommy Needs a Time Out” t-shirt to her collection of Time Out products and proceeded to tell Tisha Campbell Martin and Tichina Arnold that the Time Out Spot would soon become their “best friend.” Melissa Hart is a big fan of the “I Love Pacifier” onesie for her little boy, Mason. She said he was out growing his 6 month size, so he received a few in 12 months. Joley Fisher received a pink Time Out Spot for her girls, as well as a “Mommy Needs a Time Out” t-shirt for herself, each of her daughters also received “Needs A Time Out” shirts, all in pink of course. Joley also loved the idea of putting toys in “time out.” Dad, Greg Grunberg of Alias, Lost, and Mission Impossible 3 couldn’t wait to take home a Time Out Spot for his son. Daddy Boris Kodjoe of Madea’s Family Reunion smiled big when he was given his “Daddy Needs A Time Out” shirt.
Animal lovers such as Kelly Hu of In Case of Emergency, co-staring David Arquette and Jonathan Silverman, Kyla Pratt of One on One/The Proud Family, Adrienne Janic “AJ” of TLC’s Overhaulin’, Lauren “LC” & Heidi of MTV’s Laguna Beach & The Hills, & Marty Casey of Rock Star INXS received Time Out Spots doggy products for their furry loved ones. They happily walked away with doggy t-shirts that say “Needs A Time Out” and Time Out Spots doggy rugs.
Featured sponsor, Time Out Spots was the buzz of the event. Stars were flocking to Time Out Spot’s suite after hearing the buzz in the hallways. Even the media was getting in on it.
"Time Out Spots are the most fashionable accessory for any Mom looking to have a special place for their misbehaving little angels, which could be a child or pet."

Created by teacher turned mom, Heather Sievers, Time Out Spots are the solution to unsuccessful time outs. Heather was inspired by her three year old son. She started his time outs on a little wooden stool, which immediately became a problem. The stool would get flipped over and scooted around. It even started to damage the wood floors. The last straw was when he picked it up, held it to his bottom, and walked around saying, "I'm still in time out, my bootie is on the stool.” Time Out had turned into a game. So, it hit her. The family needed a new time out spot. Deciding that a rug would be great for this, Heather designed the Time Out Spot and went on a mission to have it manufactured.
The rugs are designed to help discipline children ages 18 months and up. When a behavior problem arises, children should be given one warning. If they do not obey, they should be sent to sit on their "Time Out Spot." One minute of time out is recommended for each year of the child's age (example: 3 years old/3 minutes). Information on how to give successful Time Outs can be found on the website.
Product Specifications & Availability:
Time Out Spots are 27 inches in diameter and are machine washable (cold water, mild detergent, lay flat to dry). They are super soft, 100% acrylic, similar to a bath mat, and have a non-skid back so that children cannot “scoot” around the room while in time out. Time Out Spots are currently available online at http://www.timeoutspots.com. They are also sold in over 100 retail stores (26 states & 3 countries), continuing to add more each day. The retail price ranges between $22 & $25. Time Out Spots are ALWAYS a hit gift (to the parents anyway). All Time Out Spots come bagged with a matching hangtag and ribbon closure. Time Out Spots are a fun, yet practical item. They have been used with not only children but with husbands, pets, and at the office as well!
The most frequently asked question is “Do they work?” The answer to that is “It is up to you!” Just as with anything else, you must be consistent. If your child gets off their spot 20 times, you put them back on 20 times.
