Four time NASCAR Cup champion Jeff Gordon partners with automotive collectibles auction website to sell rare autographed racing collectibles, with proceeds benefitting The Jeff Gordon Foundation.

Fans and memorabilia collectors of four-time NASCAR Cup Series champion Jeff Gordon have the opportunity to get their hands on authentic autographed items from the NASCAR star while raising funds for The Jeff Gordon Foundation. Items will include such rarities as prototype collectibles, race-used uniforms, sheet-metal from Gordon’s No. 24 DuPont Monte Carlo, and other unique pieces from the offices of Jeff Gordon, Inc.

All of these items will be auctioned off to the highest bidders via online auctions at http://www.GoMotorBids.com. The website, which specializes in selling auto racing memorabilia and collectibles, has a special section dedicated to this merchandise and is no stranger to promotions involving one of NASCAR’s most popular drivers.

“We’re the official online auction house of Jeff Gordon, Inc.,” said Russ Dickey, director of marketing. “GoMotorBids.com has facilitated several very successful auctions for The Jeff Gordon Foundation in the past, and we’re proud now to be able to host a full-time section dedicated to raising funds for this very worthwhile charity.”

The Jeff Gordon Foundation section of GoMotorBids.com officially opened on June 4 with two exceptionally rare items on the virtual auction block: a prototype of a 1/24th scale DuPont Monte Carlo diecast collectible, plated in 24k gold and signed by Gordon; and a piece of artwork which features the No. 24 race car and the No. 48 Lowe’s Monte Carlo of teammate Jimmie Johnson, signed by both drivers. A new item will be added each week.

“With the success of our previous online auctions hosted by GoMotorBids.com, we decided to develop a weekly auction to continue generating funds to support the foundation’s efforts to help children with physical and emotional health care needs,” said Jules Moss, Business Development Manager of The Jeff Gordon Foundation. “This is an opportunity for collectors to not only add unique items to their collections, but also to support children in need throughout the country.”

All of the auctions will feature no reserve pricing, and a special Certificate of Authenticity will accompany each item. The net proceeds will benefit The Jeff Gordon Foundation.
