Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) June 8, 2006 –- PETIT APPETIT was honored to participate in style insider Jayneoni’s, “Rockin’ Baby Boom Boom Room” celebrity gifting suite to celebrate the 2006 MTV Movie Awards. This day long exclusive gifting and pampering suite was designed to give MTV Movie Award nominees, presenters and “Hot Moms and Dads” of Television, Movies, and Music access to some of the most coveted baby products in Hollywood. The exclusive event took place Friday, June 2nd at the Beverly Hills Park Hyatt Hotel where an invitation only list of celebrities and press were invited to experience and take home the hottest baby and beauty products. The suite was full of designer baby clothing, blankets, maternity items, and other amazing products to pamper the Tinsel Town tots and their parents.
A stand-out in the crowd was Petit Appetit, as owner Lisa Barnes showcased her organic, healthy baby and children’s food cookbook, The Petit Appetit Cookbook. Many celebs came by the table to discuss their children’s eating habits and were excited to receive The Petit Appetit Cookbook to help with healthy, convenient, organic recipes. Those guests with toddlers at home, were also gifted toddler sized logo-embroidered aprons so they could help create the tasty recipes at home. Hollywood moms such as Joely Fisher (Desperate Housewives), Melissa Joan Hart (Jesus, Mary & Joey and Sabrina the Teenage Witch), Shar Jackson (The Parkers), and Nicole Ari Parker (Brown Sugar and Second Time Around), snacked on mini cupcakes and star shaped graham crackers, while having their cookbooks signed and personalized for their children by author, Lisa Barnes.
Dad, Greg Grunberg (Alias, Lost, and Mission Impossible 3) couldn’t wait to take home a cookbook for his son, who loves to help cook and also has special dietary restrictions which the book is sure to help with. Ming Na (ER) commented the book will come in handy as she already has an organic vegetable garden at home.
Expectant parents Fred Savage (Crumbs) and wife Jennifer looked forward to learning how to make their baby’s food, as Jennifer confided that Fred’s mom had made all his baby food growing up. Laura Ramsey (She’s the One), Kyla Pratt (One on One and The Proud Family), Adrienne Janic “AJ” of TLC’s Overhaulin’, Lauren “LC” Conrad (MTV’s Laguna Beach & The Hills), and Courtney Peldon (Boston Public) picked up signed copies of the book for shower gifts for their expecting friends and family.
Before the event and evening was over, the cupcakes and crackers at the Petit Appetit table were finished by children and adults alike. At 8 months pregnant herself, author Lisa Barnes had a great time seeing new baby products and talking with celebrity parents and parents-to-be, while sharing food and eating advice. Barnes says, “It doesn’t matter what your status or job may be, all parents want to provide their children with the highest quality, best tasting foods and help them establish healthy eating habits to last a lifetime”.
