Route 22's Grand Opening Celebration Takes the Driver's Seat

Nearly 300 guests recently gathered at the Route 22 Restaurant’s grand opening celebration. The "invitation only" affair celebrated the generosity of the many sponsors, supporters, and friends of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Stamford and Greenwich. This year marks the centennial anniversary of the Boys and Girls Club, a national organization that has been providing hope and opportunity to generations of America’s youth.

Stamford, CT (PRWEB) June 9, 2006 -- Nearly 300 guests recently gathered at the Route 22 Restaurant’s grand opening celebration. The "invitation only" affair celebrated the generosity of the many sponsors, supporters, and friends of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Stamford and Greenwich. This year marks the centennial anniversary of the Boys and Girls Club, a national organization that has been providing hope and opportunity to generations of America’s youth.

Michael Freimuth, Director of Economic Development, Stamford, CT, and Peter Crumbine, Town of Greenwich Selectman, joined Route 22’s founding partners for a ribbon cutting ceremony outside the restaurant. Also joining them were partners from "Post Road Entertainment," Donald Kelly, Todd Kozakowski, and Albert Silverman. "We are delighted to team up with Route 22 founders, Lance Root and Mike LoDolce, and look forward to bringing a truly unique form of dining entertainment to Stamford," says Donald Kelly, partner, Post Road Entertainment.

Route 22 American Restaurant & Bar masters all the ingredients necessary for a unique recipe in "eat-ertainment." Located in Stamford’s Grade A Shoprite Center, they ensure an enjoyable dining experience by offering hearty all-American food, menu items for kids of all ages, and plenty of fun for the whole family. "Eat-ertainment" features in the main restaurant area include a fortune teller and large plasma flat screen televisions for watching sports events.
