ThyssenKrupp Access, the world leader in home elevators and accessiblity equipment announces the acquisiton of Abbey Home Elevator of Northern California. This is the fourth dealer acquistion for ThyssenKrupp Access in the last two years.

ThyssenKrupp Access, a leading manufacturer of stair lifts, wheelchair lifts, and residential elevators announces its acquisition of Abbey Home Elevator of Northern California, a leading residential elevator and accessibility equipment dealer located in San Ramon, CA.

“The acquisition of Abbey Home Elevator of Northern California is a great compliment to our existing business and previous acquisition of Abbey Access’s commercial division in Fresno," said Thomas Hance, president of ThyssenKrupp Access. “The purchase further cements our commitment to growing the home elevator and accessibility market and our presence in the state of California.”

Scott Zoetewey brings over 20 years experience of commercial operations experience with ThyssenKrupp Elevator and Dover to ThyssenKrupp Access. He will serve as the Vice President of Operations for all field offices.
