RecruitMilitary and Employers Resource Association Launch Initiative to Hire Our Nation's Veterans

RecruitMilitary, LLC, and the Employers Resource Association (ERA) have announced that they will work together to promote the hiring of military veterans by the more than 1,300 companies that are members of the ERA.

Cincinnati, OH (PRWEB) June 12, 2006 -- RecruitMilitary, LLC, and the Employers Resource Association (ERA) have announced that they will work together to promote the hiring of military veterans by the more than 1,300 companies that are members of the ERA. RecruitMilitary offers online hiring products and other tools that help Corporate America find outstanding employees among the men and women who have served in the United States armed forces. ERA members that use RecruitMilitary’s online hiring products will also be entitled to display a special graphic identifying themselves as “Hiring Those Who Served.”

Drew Myers, President of RecruitMilitary, and Joshua Curtin, the RecruitMilitary representative dedicated to ERA members, will brief representatives of the ERA and member companies at the association’s Cincinnati office on June 20 and at ERA’s Columbus office on June 22. “This partnership will benefit both veteran job seekers and ERA member companies,” said Myers, a former Marine Captain. “The job seekers will gain access to more job postings, and their resumes will be accessible to more employers. The ERA will offer companies a great new way to meet their hiring needs.”

Online hiring products
RecruitMilitary offers subscriptions that entitle employers to view its database of more than 110,000 self-registered job candidates who have military backgrounds and to post an unlimited number of job descriptions that are viewable by those candidates. The database, at www.recruitmilitary.com, is highly diverse with respect to branch of the service, military rank or rate, gender, and ethnicity.

Special graphic
The graphic will be available as an electronic file for participating members’ Web sites, e-mail messages, and other online communications; and for their stationery, business cards, brochures, bulletins, and other print materials.
