Ryma Technology Solutions announces upcoming release of new modules at product management events in Silicon Valley.

Since almost a third of our customer licenses are in California, this is a great time to launch the first annual FeaturePlan Users Group event and discuss the upcoming new modules with them

Ryma Technology Solutions Inc., the leading provider of real-world product management solutions for the software industry, today announced a new set of modules for its flagship product, FeaturePlan,™ including a customizable web interface, automated email handling and offline input to streamline product requirements gathering. The announcement coincides with the opening of the Software 500 Marketing Perspectives Conference (SMP) taking place this week at the Santa Clara Convention Center, where the product management community is gathering to rub shoulders with industry experts and product management professionals from all over the world. The event is also playing host to the Silicon Valley Product Management Association meeting and the first annual FeaturePlan User Group meeting, where Ryma Technology Solutions is discussing the new modules expected to be released in the next quarter.

Based on inputs from its rapidly expanding customer base, FeaturePlan is releasing new modules that will ease deployment for large numbers of collaborative users as well as automate email inputs - even when disconnected from the server. The new modules include:

  • FeaturePlan on the Web – Now with a fully-integrated Web client, FeaturePlan users have access to accurate, real-time product data and market information for their entire product portfolio whenever, and wherever they need it.
  • Microsoft Outlook® Add-in – Outlook emails can be automatically pushed into FeaturePlan to eliminate duplication of effort and post-processing of email-generated records.
  • Offline Input - Product Managers can now add new data and push downloaded emails into FeaturePlan while disconnected from the server, turning the many hours on planes and in airports into productive time.

“We’re pleased to see Ryma Technology Solutions take a leading role in the industry events here in Silicon Valley” said Carrie Dion, Product Lifecycle Manager, Trend Micro Inc. “FeaturePlan has had a big impact on our product management process, improving our ability to capture inputs and make objective decisions about product requirements."

At the Software Marketing Perspectives Conference (http://www.smpevent.com) this week, many local companies are looking for ways to gain a global competitive edge and FeaturePlan continues to play a leading role in their product management strategies.

“Since almost a third of our customer licenses are in California, this is a great time to launch the first annual FeaturePlan Users Group event and discuss the upcoming new modules with them,” said Robin Lowry, VP Product Management at Ryma Technology Solutions. “Many of the leading technology companies in the area are looking for ways to reduce the time it takes them to move from product concept to delivery and this week FeaturePlan takes another big step in helping them turn real-world market inputs into commercial product success.”
