Website for Citizens of Proposed Milton, Georgia is a Big Hit

The proposed city of Milton, Georgia should soon become Georgia's newest city and all the news about the new city can be found at www.AccessMilton.com.

Alpharetta, GA (PRWEB) June 11, 2006 -- Entrepreneurs Tim Enloe and Scott Thompson wanted to do something that was not only profitable but also good for the community. After batting around several ideas they decided to start a website to benefit the proposed City of Milton, Georgia. Enloe and Thompson had almost a decade of combined Internet business experience and put it to use when they created www.AccessMilton.com.

Since the site launched in April 2006 it has grown by leaps and bounds and has generated a lot of buzz in the Milton community that is currently located in the city of Alpharetta, GA. Local business people are now advertising on Access Milton providing the residents a useful resource. Thompson explained the benefit to the community. “The phonebooks and the big newspapers are too expensive and don’t provide the kind of information that you can get online. By concentrating what people are looking for in a tight area we hope to finally give folks a directory for everything Milton.”

In late March Georgia governor Sonny Purdue signed HB 1470 into law creating the City of Milton. If the citizens approve of the new city, and most believe they will, the biggest hurdles will be crossed. “This new Internet Age is interesting because for the first time we have city websites before we have the cities” said Thompson.
