"Scents of Love" - A new collection of poems from this prolific poet and novelist.
"Scents of Love" is a collection of poems that explores the meaning of love in various settings, the celebration of passion, and the beauty of lovemaking but also questions the angle of vision that sometimes hinders and destroys the beauty of what the Other special person is offering. "Scents of Love" is about desires of life, yet egocentric ones.
Marie-Ange Somdah is a poet, novelist, translator, literary and film critic from Burkina Faso (West Africa). He has published numerous books in French and English included "Seeds & Deep Seasons", "Un Soleil de Plomb", and a book for children and youngsters, "Rêves de Savane". He is currently professor at Humboldt State University in northern California.
