Kittery, ME (PRWEB) June 13, 2006 -– Just a few days before the 50th anniversary party for Bob’s Clam Hut, owner Michael Landgarten will officially open the doors to his new restaurant with a Grand Opening Celebration June 15th, 10:30 a.m.
Schedule for Robert’s Grand Opening Thursday June 15th:
10:30 a.m.: A short presentation in front of Bob’s Clam Hut by owner Michael Landgarten reviewing the process of creating Robert’s, the vision for Robert’s and the set up for the ensuing parade up Route 1.
10.45am: Gary Sredzienski, Kittery’s world famous Accordion virtuoso will lead a procession of employees and fans from Bob’s Clam Hut across the street to the new Robert’s Maine Grill & Market. They will bring gifts and symbols to transfer the spirit of Bob’s Clam Hut to Robert’s. Among the friends, Clam Hut “royalty” Betty Kraft – founder of the Hut along with husband Bob in 1956, and Lillian Mangos, Clam Hut mainstay and customer favorite for 20 years.
10:55 a.m. Betty Kraft and Rachael Landgarten will cut a ribbon at Robert’s Maine Grill officially opening the restaurant to the public.
11:00 a.m. and onward: Grand Opening Party & Open House. The music will continue as we enter the restaurant and begin what we hope will be a long Kittery tradition. There will be passed samples of Robert’s specialties and complimentary appetizer samples for seated guests throughout the remainder of the day.
"We have been navigating so many obstacles to get here and I can’t believe it’s finally happening,” said Michael Landgarten, Owner. “This will be a very happy day filled with great food and lots of fun for the entire family, a great chance to celebrate the moment.”
