Author Featured on MSNBC TV's "Boomer Nation" Segment

Beverly Mahone cited as expert on Baby Boomer Lifestyle Issues.

Durham, NC (PRWEB) June 13, 2006 -- Exactly one week prior to the official launch of her new self-published book, "WHATEVER! A Baby Boomer's Journey Into Middle Age," Beverly Mahone found herself being featured on MSNBC television's "Boomer Nation" series.

While interviewed Mahone spoke about the challenges of dating after age 40, and referenced the chapter in her book, entitled: "Lordy, Lordy! Are There Any Good Men Left After 40?!" However, with dating in middle age, may come the challenge of dealing with two different families born from previous relationships.

"Everyday there are some 1300 new step families forming in America, baby boomer's are remarrying---such as I have, stated Mahone. It takes a lot of care and understanding to merge a family. Open and clear communication is a necessity."

Mahone's new union was advanced by modern technology, which more boomer's are embracing---online dating. She and her husband Nate also face the common baby boomer challenge of caring for their elderly parents. "Despite the challenges that face us, we are confident that we can face them all together, we're blessed to have found one another," says Mahone.

The book launch party for "WHATEVER! A Baby Boomer's Journey Into Middle Age" will be held, Saturday, June 17, 2006 at Ideas! Coffeehouse in Durham, NC. Ideas! is located at 2105 E. NC Hwy 54.
