The Franciscan Sisters of Christian Charity will feature Christian singer-songwriter Katie Nelson’s version of “You Are The Water” as their website’s “Song of the Month”. It will be available throughout June as a free download on the Franciscanized World page of http://www.fscc-calledtobe.org.
“You Are The Water,” taken from Katie Nelson’s “Do You Really Know Him” CD. is one the singers’ favorites. Nelson enthused that “…I love this song so much. Every time I sing it I honestly picture a steady stream of sparkling water being dumped into my soul.”
The site’s is designed to help visitors see the world as Saints Francis and Clare did - realistically, compassionately, finding good and holy possibility in the substance and culture of everyday life.
"We’ve talked with our current and prospective candidates in their 20’s, wanting to learn the best way to reach young women interested in knowing more about us, and possibly joining us,” Sr. Julie Ann Sheahan, OSF, Directress of Vocations said.
