Washington Post Newsweek Interactive Turns to Replicon’s Web TimeSheet for Visibility into Project and Resource Management

Employees at the Washington Post Newsweek Interactive needed an efficient project and resource management solution to eliminate manual processes of administering time and expense reporting. Web TimeSheet is their business solution of choice.

Calgary, AB (PRWEB) June 13, 2006 -- Replicon, Inc., the corporate time and expense tracking vendor of choice for businesses, today announced that Washington Post Newsweek Interactive (WPNI)--the online publishing subsidiary of The Washington Post Company-–purchased Web TimeSheet, the leading time and expense management software.

Previously, WPNI relied on manually administering time and expense information using Excel spreadsheets. WPNI needed a time tracking solution to help streamline their project and resource management processes.

“We were looking for a time tracking solution that could capture the information we need for executive reporting, but that wasn’t complicated,” said John Whall, Applications Development Director for WPNI in Arlington, Virginia. “It was also important that [the solution we selected have a resource management capability.”

Whall explained that Replicon, Inc. was their vendor of choice because Web TimeSheet comprised all of the significant features they needed.

“Replicon’s Web TimeSheet and Expenses will allow us to more easily track and report on time and expense information,” said Whall. “Using these solutions is also among the first steps we are taking to provide a better dashboard to our executives so that they can make better decisions when managing our applications portfolio.”

Additionally, Whall said that his team anticipates Web TimeSheet will provide the “ease of use, ability to use without modification, and immediate ROI” that they were seeking.

“WPNI is a premier example of the hundreds of rapidly growing organizations that are utilizing Web TimeSheet to automate their time and expense tracking processes, which in turn augments company growth and improves workflow across the enterprise,” said Raj Narayanaswamy, co-founder and co-CEO of Replicon, Inc.
