BlackFoot Adds Deepak Kamra from Canaan Partners and Howard Hartenbaum from Draper Richards.

The breakthrough new multichannel marketing intelligence platform, BlackFoot, has announced two strategic additions to its board of directors: Deepak Kamra, general partner at Canaan Partners, and Howard Hartenbaum, partner at Draper Richards. They join directors Martin Wesley, chief executive officer and founder of BlackFoot, and Charles Wesley, vice president, technology and consulting services of BlackFoot.

Mr. Kamra joined Canaan in 1991 after 11 years of operating responsibility in the telecommunications, computer, and software industries. Prior to joining Canaan, he held several senior sales and marketing positions at Aspect Communications, a successful Silicon Valley based startup in the call-center and switching industry. He previously held positions at ROLM Corporation, and was General Manager of a division of TRW Datacomm International. He received a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Carleton University and an MBA from the Harvard Business School. Deepak led Canaan's investment in Acme Packet, AllBusiness.com, Concord Communications, DoubleClick, iPrint.com, Latitude Communications, Match.com, Recourse Technologies, SuccessFactors, and SalesLogix. He currently serves on the Boards of Directors of Aperto Networks, BlackFoot Inc., e4e, Loyalty Lab, ON24, Qovia, and Zmanda.

At Draper Richards, Mr. Hartenbaum focuses on investments in enterprise and consumer software and services, wireless network solutions, and peer-to-peer technology. His current directorships include LucidPort, and he is also active with numerous companies including Revver, Attributor, LiveDeal, Ultriva, Ooma, and Onsite Systems. Mr. Hartenbaum was a founding investor in Skype (acquired by eBay), as well as a former member of the board of directors, and he joined the Forbes Midas List of top venture capitalists for the year 2006. Richards, Mr. Hartenbaum held positions at Hughes Electronics, Honda Motor Company and Teledyne Relays. Mr. Hartenbaum is a graduate of M.I.T.
