The Lessors Network today announced the Annual Lessor Resources Showcase will feature a panel discussion entitled “Innovative Lease Funding Options”.

Scheduled this August from the Ritz-Carlton, Buckhead hotel in Atlanta, this special presentation will discuss how tougher credits and lease structures continue to be a challenge for lessors. New types of investors are investing is specific transactions. Usually the leases have to have a value above $1 million and sometimes above $10 million. These funding sources include hedge funds, private money and foreign funds. They will take credit or collateral risk that traditional funding sources will not entertain. They are staffed by people from the leasing industry; with many coming from the side of distressed debt. While they tend to like public companies that are having difficulty, they will also finance private companies.
