Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) June 14, 2006
The Lessors Network today announced the Annual Lessor Resources Showcase will feature a panel discussion entitled “Innovative Lease Funding Options”.
Scheduled this August from the Ritz-Carlton, Buckhead hotel in Atlanta, this special presentation will discuss how tougher credits and lease structures continue to be a challenge for lessors. New types of investors are investing is specific transactions. Usually the leases have to have a value above $1 million and sometimes above $10 million. These funding sources include hedge funds, private money and foreign funds. They will take credit or collateral risk that traditional funding sources will not entertain. They are staffed by people from the leasing industry; with many coming from the side of distressed debt. While they tend to like public companies that are having difficulty, they will also finance private companies.
Panel Members include:
Moderator | Tom Martin | President | CFI Financial Services
Lessor Speaker | David Mirsky | Chairman / COO | Pacific Rim Capital, Inc.
Private Investor Speaker | Rick J. Noel | Partner | Värde Partners, Inc.
Hedge Fund Speaker | Mark McGreenery | Managing Director | DB Zwirn
The Annual Lessor Resources Showcase hosts a smaller "professionally intimate" group of leasing executives seeking to identify and evaluate strategic resources enhancing lease origination, funding, wholesale distribution and administrative networks in a sophisticated, high-profile networking environment. General Session presentations replace breakout sessions and tired exhibit booths formats, ensuring maximum exposure for exhibiting resources to each and every attendee.
The Annual Lessor Resources Showcase is also the only equipment leasing event to provide a showcase opportunity to each and every registered attendee. On the final day, an Open Mic forum invites all attendees to take two minutes at the microphone and introduce their company, products and services exposing fellow attendees to non-exhibiting resources that often go unnoticed.
The Real Deal Showcase features attendees pitching asset based transactions, portfolios, projects, etc. available for immediate funding to a room full of funding sources. In the past over $1 billion in lease funding resources have been identified making this the hottest ticket in the equipment leasing markets.
Traditionally, participants to this exclusive annual event have included: Bank of America, Caterpillar Financial Services Corp., Chase Equipment Leasing, CIT, Citigroup, Inc., Daimler Chrysler, De Lage Landen, Decision Systems, Inc., Dell Financial Services, Deutsche Financial Services, Diligenz, Inc., ePlus Group, Inc., Experian, Fair, Isaac and Company, Fitch Ratings, GATX Capital, GE Capital, GMAC Commercial Finance, IBM Global Financing, Information Leasing Corp., International Decision Systems, John Deere Credit, Key Equipment Finance Group, KPMG Consulting LLC, Oracle Credit Corporation, Pitney Bowes Financial Services, RVI Group, SAP America, Siemens Financial Services, Textron Financial Corporation, Toyota Financial Services, UCC Direct Services, US Bancorp, Wachovia Leasing & Equipment Finance and Wells Fargo Equipment Finance.
