Paula Duffy Scores a Slam Dunk with Sports Journey on WMET 1160AM
Duffy will bring fresh female approach to her commentator role
Washington DC, June 14, 2006 – Paula Duffy today announced she has become a member of the broadcast crew at Sports Journey in Washington DC. Sports Journey, which offers serious sports talk for the serious fan, is broadcast live on the NBC 50,000 watt affiliate WMET 1160AM Radio.
Duffy, a regular media commentator on ESPN and Leeza Gibbons’ resident ‘sportstress’, will bring a bold fresh female approach to the latest sports news and stories. Duffy will join an experienced broadcast team at Sports Journey consisting of co-hosts Lake Lewis and Sergio Rodriguez and regular guest commentator Reggie Williams. Duffy will be broadcasting out of Insights Entertainment studio in the Los Angeles area.
Sports Journey was created by Lake Lewis and has drawn much attention from sports fans and the radio industry for its innovative approach to sports commentary. The show features a combination of sports talk, analysis and guest interviews. Past guests have included NBA pros, journalists from Sports Illustrated and ESPN and professional coaches from New York, California and Texas.
