29West Announces Latency Busters Messaging (LBM) Monitoring Display Using SL Corporation’s RTView
Graphical monitoring for 29West’s LBM product to be shown June 20-22 at the SIA Conference in New York City
Warrenville, IL & NY, NY (PRWEB) June 20, 2006 -- 29West, Inc, a leading provider of high-performance messaging software solutions today announced an early access demonstration for customers and prospects interested in working with data visualization and monitoring tools developed by 29West, Inc and SL Corporation.
LBM’s application-to-application messaging design has provided dramatic performance gains over legacy messaging solutions and is gaining significant market traction. As the complexity of applications leveraging LBM grows, monitoring the performance of these systems becomes critical. 29West announced today that release 2.3 of the LBM product will include a remote monitoring feature that allows LBM management statistics to be automatically distributed from LBM-enabled applications and collected by a central monitoring machine or group of monitoring machines. This data can then be fed into a customer’s management framework, or into a graphical network monitoring application. This new feature compliments the existing Ethereal dissectors for passive monitoring of LBM systems, and the built-in API for local monitoring of LBM statistics.
According to Mark Mahowald, founder and president of 29West, “The addition of aggregated statistics adds one more robust monitoring tool to LBM. We have been working closely with SL Corporation as they developed a remote LBM monitoring interface. It provides our customers a graphical monitoring interface to support LBM in production environments.” Mr Mahowald continued, “We are excited to be showing the powerful combination of LBM remote monitoring and a world-class monitoring tool like the RTView system at the SIA show. This provides an answer for customers who want an off the shelf and highly customizable, graphic, monitoring capability with LBM”.
Tom Lubinski, president and CEO of SL Corporation stated, “As a provider of operational and IT dashboards for hundreds of mission critical applications worldwide, we are excited to deliver the first commercial monitoring solution to support the LBM product. As leaders in high speed, low latency messaging systems, 29West’s technology creates a demanding environment in which Enterprise RTView’s capabilities are clearly demonstrated”.
Firms deploying low latency messaging need a range of tools to track and manage performance. With the addition of aggregated statistics and the RTView integration, 29West has added visual performance monitoring, audible alerts and aggregated statistics to its already impressive array of tools. Release 2.3 is currently available in early access form and 29West, Inc. is planning to make release 2.3 generally available in July 2006.
