Kognitio has joined the Business Objects OEM program in order to provide its customers with Business Objects solutions that complement its WX2 analytical BI database software

Kognitio, a leading provider of solutions to business problems that require acquisition, rationalisation and analysis of both large and complex data, today announced that it has joined the Business Objects OEM partner program. As a new Business Objects partner, Kognitio will significantly enhance its value proposition to customers by providing access to BusinessObjects™ XI, the BI industry’s most advanced and complete platform for performance management, planning, reporting, query and analysis, and enterprise information management.

With more than 3,000 partnerships worldwide, Business Objects provides the business intelligence industry’s most comprehensive partner network. The Business Objects OEM partner program provides partners with the ability to integrate the world’s leading business intelligence solutions with their own existing applications. In addition, Business Objects offers expanded partner training initiatives and streamlined access to a variety of sales, marketing, and technical training resources to enable partners to improve their business and deliver additional value to customers.

Through this partnership, Kognitio will be able to provide best-of-breed BI solutions that integrate Business Objects software with Kognitio’s powerful and scalable analytical database, WX2. Consequently, organisations will be able to analyse multi-billion row data sets and see the results visually represented in a clear and concise manner within seconds as opposed to hours or days when compared with other database and data warehousing technologies. This will accelerate the decision-making process for organisations that are dependent on the analysis of detailed data for the development of new business strategies in order to improve sales, margins, customer service and retention.

“We are delighted to pursue a partnering strategy with Business Objects,” said Roger Llewellyn, managing director at Kognitio. “The proven technology of Business Objects and Kognitio’s fast and scalable analytical database is exactly what our customers are looking for to give them an advantage in today’s competitive marketplace. Business Objects solutions complement our database well and offer compelling benefits for our customers.”

“Business Objects has by far the strongest partner programme in the BI industry and we look forward to continuing that momentum with the addition of Kognitio,” said John Wilkinson, mid-market sales director for Northern Europe at Business Objects. “The partnership between Kognitio and Business Objects will provide solutions that will enable organisations to gain greater insight into their business and drive it to new levels of performance.”
