The first electronic book on teenage internet safety issues directly related to MySpace, called “MySpace 4 Parents,” has been authored by long-time internet consultant Marc Harris. The ebook is now available for purchase online at http://www.myspace4parents.com.

Marc Harris, an internet consulting veteran, was concerned about all of the recent news stories regarding the problems many teens were having on the popular internet portal MySpace.com. After a great deal of time searching the web he was unable to find any type of book that talked about MySpace dangers.

“My friends and family members could not stop talking about the latest news stories regarding the dangers on MySpace and I could not find a definitive resource to point them to,” recalls Harris. “I knew that summer vacation was coming up and all of these kids would have a tremendous amount of free time, so I thought I should write a book on MySpace and safety using my web experience.”

Readers of the ebook “MySpace 4 Parents” will not only understand MySpace better, but they will know how to access pictures, videos, blogs and comments left on MySpace pages to help them monitor their teen’s activities. The ebook comes with six online videos in multiple formats that shows all the steps to view sections of a MySpace account in detail, no matter the readers computer skill level.

The “MySpace 4 Parents” ebook includes such helpful information as: blogging tips for teens, detailed instructions on how to make your teen safer in MySpace, important safety issues when signing up for MySpace, details on deleting a MySpace account, learning how to find people on MySpace and much more.

“It’s important that all parents understand internet safety for teenagers, especially as it applies to MySpace. When you are informed, you can help your child make the right decisions,” says Harris.
