In their first new offering in ten years, Beer Nuts Brand Snacks introduces Spicy & Hot Peanuts and a Bar Mix.

Beer Nuts, the original sweet and salty peanut is spicing up their image.

In their first new offering in ten years, Beer Nuts Brand Snacks’ Spicy & Hot Peanuts has a mouth-watering mix of chipotle and Bloody Mary flavor. Peanuts are just the start on the Bar Mix, combining different flavors in every bite. The Bar Mix, a party mix, includes plain and honey mustard pretzels, sesame sticks and roasted corn with seasonings that include garlic, onion, cheddar and paprika.

“To capitalize on the trend in today’s marketplace we have introduced two products that are seasoned, and spicy,” states Tom Foster, Director of New Business Development for Beer Nuts, Inc. “Both products target the 18-39 age demographic who consume 48% of snacks, and the growing ethnic populations”.

The classic Beer Nuts peanut has remained unchanged since 1953 when the uniquely sweet and salty nuts were first sold by-the-scoop at the “Carmel Crisp Shoppe” owned by the Shirk family. Cashews, almonds and kettle-cooked peanuts have been added to the line through the years.

With the same commitment to freshness and quality for over 53 years, Beer Nuts is still owned by the Shirk family and still manufactured in Bloomington, IL. Beer Nuts Brand Snacks are available in convenience and many grocery stores nationwide or at the site.
