The six-month old MediaTakeOut.com’s meteoric rise is largely attributable to its wildly popular exclusives. The exclusives have already been quoted by BET Style, MTV News, The NY Post’s Page Six, and popular radio personalities like Wendy Williams and Tom Joyner.
And Fred Mwangaguhunga tells exactly how MediaTakeOut.com comes up with its exclusives. “Our staff will go to any length to get a story,” he said, “one of our reporters even steaked out the home of a famous athlete’s mistress, waiting 6 hours in the pouring rain.”
Luckily not all of MediaTakeOut.com’s exclusives require such a hands-on approach. According to the founder, “we get 90% of our stories from insiders looking to spill the beans – like hairstylists, bodyguards or bitter ex-girlfriends.”
