HR Expert Opens Doors For Area Businesses & Professionals By Launching National HR Firm

A San Antonio HR expert opens a new human resources and organizational development company. The firm's unique blend of professional services, positions Nextaff to become one of the premier providers of human capital solutions in San Antonio.

SAN ANTONIO (PRWEB) June 21, 2006 -- It’s not what you know, but who you know. Sound familiar? It might to the thousands of professionals seeking employment in San Antonio, or to employers searching for their next model employee.

But for Kevin Prescott, the new owner of NEXTAFF, a national human resources franchise, opening June 12, there’s a method to the madness. “There is a science to hiring the right employee and it exceeds a friendly referral,” explained the local HR expert. “It calls for due diligence, testing, training and research. Prescott has over a decade of HR expertise, which includes serving on the initial HR start-up team for Six Flags Over Texas and delivering over 150 presentations on a variety of industry-specific topics. Prior to launching the NEXTAFF franchise, Prescott was a human resources manager for the nation’s largest provider of payroll and payroll related services. He is a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources, has a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Texas at San Antonio and graduated with distinction from the University of Incarnate Word, where he earned a Masters in Education. He is currently pursuing a doctorate in education with emphasis in Organizational Leadership at the University of the Incarnate Word, volunteers for the Susan G. Komen “Race for the Cure” and is the volunteer coordinator for United Way’s Feast of Sharing event held each December.
