The Bluegrass & BBQ Festival at historic Boone Hall Plantation in Mt. Pleasant, SC brings teams from around the country to the Charleston area to compete for $10,000 in cash and prizes. Local amateurs show off their competitive BBQ and tailgating set-up skills, and visitors enjoy live bluegrass music, local restaurant fare, and pony rides and games for the kids. On June 23, the fun starts at 10am, with music from 4-8pm. On June 24, it’s barbecue and music from 10am-7pm.
