Chicago, IL (PRWEB) June 21, 2006
MB Financial Bank, N.A., has launched its “ATM Freedom” program, in which fees will be waived for MB Financial Bank customers at more than 1.5 million ATMs around the world, it was announced today by Tommy FitzGibbon, Executive Vice President and Chief Retail Banking Officer.
MB Financial Bank customers who maintain a minimum daily balance of $2,500 in their Free Checking, Interest Checking or Money Market Account will benefit by having their fees waived for that account at any ATM anywhere. ** The introduction of the new ATM Freedom program is another example of MB Financial’s commitment to BETSIMPSIER banking, products and services that make banking “better, simpler, easier” for customers.
“We continue to look for ways to improve banking for our customers,” said FitzGibbon. “While we have learned customers want access to a large ATM network, customers have voiced concern about the usage and transactional costs. The ATM Freedom program gives customers the ultimate solution.”
The “No Fee” program is the second major enhancement that MB Financial Bank has made to boost accessibility and affordability of ATMs.
Last October, MB Financial Bank announced a partnership with the STARsf Network that expanded customers’ access to more than 600 surcharge- free locations in the Chicago area and other STARsf ATMs around the country. The new ATM Freedom program reverses fees from any ATM anywhere around the world.
“MB Financial’s own ATMs have always been free to its own cardholders,” said FitzGibbon. The addition of the STARsf locations and the global ATM Freedom program allows MB customers an incredible choice of accessibility and flexibility to conduct transactions.”
Other area banks have expanded their ATM networks, joined additional ATM networks like STARsf and have offered a limited number of no fee transactions. MB Financial Bank is the first in the Chicago area to offer global ATM Freedom.
With the introduction of the ATM Freedom program, customers with a minimum daily balance of $2,500 in their Free Checking, Interest Checking or Money Market Account will have transaction and surcharge fees for that account paid for by MB. (The fees are reversed the next day on the customer’s account.)
ATM Freedom is the latest example of the bank’s drive to offer BETSIMPSIER banking.
