Olive Garden Grills Up Summertime Dishes

Olive Garden introduces two new entrées, Sicilian Grilled Shrimp and Sicilian Grilled Chicken, available on the menu from July 3 through Aug. 27.

(PRWEB) June 23, 2006 -- Olive Garden marks the arrival of summer and the grilling season with two new entrées, Sicilian Grilled Shrimp and Sicilian Grilled Chicken, available on the menu from July 3 through Aug. 27.

A hallmark of Italian cuisine, both dishes begin with fresh and simple ingredients, such as Roma tomatoes, sweet basil and zucchini. The vegetables are sautéed and tossed with angel hair pasta in a garlic-butter sauce, then finished with a choice of grilled rosemary and garlic-marinated shrimp or grilled lemon and garlic-marinated chicken breasts.

A crisp Pinot Grigio such as Bottega Vinaia is a great accompaniment to Sicilian Grilled Shrimp, while Sicilian Grilled Chicken is well-paired with a White Zinfandel, such as Sutter Home.
