Digsville.com Home Exchanges to be Taped for New Reality TV Travel Show: Vacationers Receive $1,500 Cash From World of Wonder Productions
Digsville Home Exchange Club is teaming up with World of Wonder Productions to tape a reality show featuring two families on house swap vacations this summer. The families will receive $1,500 cash each, free memberships to Digsville.com to list their homes, and professional videos of their summer vacations.
Hoboken, NJ (PRWEB) June 22, 2006 -- The World of Wonder (WoW) production company is in search of “super fun families” who are vacationing this summer by home exchange. The plan is to capture the nuts-and-bolts of home exchange holidays for an upcoming reality show. Producers, who “want to educate the viewers on the world of home exchange”, have enlisted the help of Helen Bergstein, founder of Digsville Home Exchange Club, to solicit interested families who meet the criteria.
WoW casting director, Danya Berman, who hasn’t yet found the perfect candidate family, says she’s looking for the following:
- Fun families with kids/teens;
- Able to swap this summer (July or August 2006);
- First time swappers preferred, but will consider experienced exchangers; and
- Must live in the USA, London or Paris (or outlying areas).
Berman promises the taping won’t take up too much of the group’s vacation time. Each family involved in the taping will receive a $1,500 cash; a free membership to Digsville.com in order to list their house on the site; plus a professional videotape of their home exchange holiday.
To date, some Digsville Home Exchange members who are looking to swap for this exciting new TV series include a Woodstock, NY, family of five who are interested in an NYC exchange; a Hilo, Hawaii, family who say they’re completely open to destination suggestions; a single mom of two lively teenage children in North London who’d be interested in something by the ocean; a family with teen twins from Alaska; and a Seattle couple, with a young son, who are first-time swappers.
