Garland Resort has been a great barometer of what’s possible with our proven system and the developer’s commitment to offer a quality product.

Garland Resort in Northern Michigan continued it’s strong push towards 1,000 members this past weekend with 13 new sales totaling over $500,000.00 in new business, but most importantly topped the 700 mark in membership base as the AAA-four diamond resort continues towards its goal of 1,000 golf members.
“We are ecstatic with the push and demand for real estate at Garland,” said Renaissance Marketing Group director Bryan Woodward. “Garland Resort has been a great barometer of what’s possible with our proven system and the developer’s commitment to offer a quality product.”
This past Father’s Day weekend Garland amassed one-half million in new real estate sales amidst continuous signs of uncertain economic data in Michigan.
“By now, I think families in Michigan are aware of what lies ahead of them as far job stability is concerned. “We are hearing from our customers that they are tired of the negativity and are ready to move on and build Michigan for the future.”
Renaissance Marketing Group, based in Dallas Texas, crafted a systematic real estate sales and marketing plan for the for the resort property located 3-hours north of the Detroit metro area back in the winter of 2003. It’s been a formula for success thereafter.
Sales began in May of the same year and since then have topped over 700 unit sales with nearly 30 million dollars in revenue for Garland over that time span.
“What’s great about the system we have implemented is how we tie real estate sales into
Garland’s award-winning golf product. We have been able to increase golf operations membership base with a quality group paying monthly dues and a willingness to be a part of their community,” Woodward said. “It’s a great story.”
With such a dramatic increase in its membership base, Garland has since announced plans to build a fifth golf course on the property, which will be called Sanctuary. This course is currently being built next to the Fountains Course and will compliment Garland’s other notable courses-Reflections, Monarch, and Swampfire.
Much of the success at Garland has come in the form of home site and fractional sales built around the resort property’s historic main lodge and south wing complex.
One of the most popular products has been Garland’s quarter-share fractional product located on the 12th fairway of the Fountains golf course. These fully-furnished units come complete with pool tables, outdoor Jacuzzis, flat screen televisions, communications center and other amenities that make these the most popular residences and rental units at Garland. The first building of these four-bedroom, three bath units sold out and construction on the second is currently underway and is more than 50 percent sold.
