The GCC Group is proud to announce the promotion of Bruce Friend to Director, Technical Support for GCC US operations. Bruce joined the GCC Group as a Business Development Manager 5 years ago. With a vast knowledge and experience, he was one of the core players to grow the business of Q-imaging USA, which still was young and rapidly growing at that moment.
With a Bachelor degree in Business Management from MSU Montana State University, Bruce held positions in various companies all dedicated to the imaging supplies industry. He started his career in Sales and Technical support for Laser Charge, a supplier and trainer in cartridge remanufacturing and laser printer repair. Later, he worked for Laser Impact, introducing toner products and printer parts for this service and supplies company for dot matrix print heads, laser printers and inkjet printers. Before joining Q-Imaging USA, Bruce worked for Danka EBS (Environmental Business Solutions); a Texas based wholesale manufacturer and supplier of toner cartridges.
Within Q-Imaging USA, Bruce was a Business Development Manager, focusing on increasing product awareness throughout the US and exploring sales opportunities. In his new position, Bruce will be fully managing the technical support division for both Q-ImagingTM – the company brand – and other private brand customers. He will be interacting with the customer service groups and management staff to promote the products and solve technical problems that may occur.
Bruce is enthusiastic about his new position. “It gives me a new challenge within the company. I will work to become a driver for customer support within the organizations. My additional goal is to investigate and confirm new ideas to better enhance features built into all our units,” he says.
