Landmark Military Newspapers Acquires The Destiny Group
Landmark Military Newspaper Group has acquired the assets of The Destiny Group, creating a comprehensive and integrated network of strategic base newspapers with military oriented career web sites. Bill Gaul, founder of The Destiny Group, will continue as President/CEO.
San Diego, CA (PRWEB) June 23, 2006 -- Landmark Military Newspapers, Inc. purchased The Destiny Group, an integrated recruitment company and online business that assists transitioning and former military personnel in obtaining employment or training. The company also provides assistance in generating or improving their resumes and other employment related services. The purchase occurred on June 22, 2006 and was made from Bill Gaul, the founder and owner of the company that was established in Texas in 1997. The company has business offices in San Diego, CA.
The Destiny Group also serves employers in their efforts to locate and recruit employees by providing resume posting and job postings through its network of web sites.
Bill Gaul, a West Point graduate and former Army officer, will continue to operate the company as president and CEO. “With this action, we’ve combined the best of class in both online and print capability. This will tremendously benefit those in transition and the employers anxious to reach veterans with their opportunities,” states Mr. Gaul. “This will change the way leading corporations reach the military community.”
