Myrtle Beach, S.C. (PRWEB) June 25, 2006 -- The Myrtle Beach Pavilion Farewell Season celebration continues with a concert by General Johnson and The Chairmen of the Board on July 5th at 7:00 p.m. The free concert is part of the Farewell Season Concert Series and will take place at the Pavilion boardwalk stage, which is located ocean side at the Pavilion.

The Chairmen of the Board, a long time favorite of Myrtle Beach locals and visitors, will be performing beach and shag music. The group has been playing beach music for over 30 years, performing hits like “Give Me Just A Little More Time” and “(You’ve Got Me) Dangling On A String.”

“So many people here love The Chairmen of the Board and they expect to hear them at any big event,” said Tim Ruedy, vice president of operations for Burroughs & Chapin Company’s sports, entertainment & recreation division. “We teamed up with the Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce to make the band a part of the Farewell Season Concert Series. A lot of visitors and residents are coming back to The Pavilion to make one more memory, one more time and we’re excited that The Chairmen of the Board will be a part of that.”
