Parents, plant lovers and pet lovers alike have shared a common concern that has never been properly addressed. Both pets and small children love to get messy and dig in the soil of potted plants - spreading the soil or even eating it! VIVA! Plant Net provides the solution to this long unsolved problem.

Summit Baby, Inc introduces a high stretch fishnet type tubular fabric that covers the pot and soil to create a barrier which small paws and hands can't get through. The netting is durable enough to withstand stretching and twisting without unraveling, but still allows water to go through to penetrate the soil - so the net never needs to be removed.

Initially, Summit Baby focused its research on the toddler market, but then realized the potential market of pet owners as well. There was nothing suitable on the market for use with household pets that was durable or did not involve chemicals applied to the pot surface.

VIVA! Plant Net stretches several times it's original diameter to reach around the pot and still comes back to cover the top of the pot, therefore it can conform to any pot shape or variety. VIVA! Plant Net is long-lasting and non- toxic as well.

VIVA! Plant Net, or "Pet Net", as it is also called, comes in three sizes S, M and L to fit pots up to 16" in diameter. Depending on demand, larger sizes, fitting up to several feet diameter pots to cover architectural, sidewalk and wintergarden plaza tree pots will be available later, as well as different color options.

Summit Baby has filed worldwide patents for the VIVA! Plant Net and is currently seeking distribution channels and licensees for the product.
