STA is managing its annual telecommunications spending by outsourcing its landline, mobile and wireless communications expense, usage and inventory management to Avotus, utilizing Avotus’ Intelligent Communications Management™ (ICM) Elite Managed Services.

Avotus is addressing two aspects of STA’s voice and wireless expense and usage management:
Avotus ICM Expense Management automatically validates over 300 communications invoices each month that Avotus receives on STA’s behalf. As part of its value-added managed service, Avotus also handles daily telecommunications management activities, provides call detail information to administer rate plans and report usage, orders circuits and equipment, and manages the inventory of all voice landlines, cellular devices, calling cards, conferencing services and other voice technologies.
The second aspect of the project takes advantage of Avotus’ unique ability to manage wireless assets and usage. Avotus monitors for fraudulent cellular activity and usage spikes, and helps STA determine optimal carriers and rate plans based on location, usage and calling patterns.
