Las Vegas, NV (PRWEB) June 27, 2006
When Las Vegas based Pop/Modern Rock band JAK PARIS released their debut CD Electric Revolution March 28th, 06, it was apparent that they would have to be extremely aggressive at promoting their music to compete with major label releases. Through radio, the Internet, hard work and dedication, Electric Revolution is being well received by critics, fans and Hot AC radio that have labeled them as the new band to watch for.
In March 2006 JAK PARIS released N.B.D. (Not Back Down), the first single from Electric Revolution. With this release, JP began earning the attention of radio stations and music reviewers as the video was added to MTV2’s Hot Tracks On Demand and has aired on several National TV shows such as Access Hollywood, and Entertainment Tonight. N.B.D. made a splash and earned the attention of the music industry plus received well-noted radio airplay helping the song enter the Hot AC top 100 Billboard singles charts.
As a follow up JAK PARIS is set to release their second single, a modern version of Fleetwood Mac’s mega hit The Chain. JP collaborated with actress (REBA) Scarlett Pomers in an effort to bring attention to her charity Arch-Angels fund. Pomers established Arch-Angels, a dedicated fund within the National Eating Disorders Association (NEDA), to support the ongoing efforts to raise awareness and funds for education, advocacy, and research. The result of the collaboration is a rock 'n' roll single in the truest sense with cross over appeal that will surely position their second single.
It was recently announced that JAK PARIS would be performing at 2006 RockFest in Lake Havasu City, AZ on the second stage October 7th (Black Crowes) and the main stage October 8th (Lit). See lineup @ http://www.lakehavasurockfest.com
