TargetX Introduces 1st Online Planner for College Recruiters

As colleges work harder to recruit today's students, they find it nearly impossible to keep track of all the projects that are required. Higher education marketing company TargetX is offering an online planning tool that promises to revolutionize the Admissions Office.

Interactive recruiting firm TargetX today launched the first online planning tool to help colleges keep up with the dizzying array of communications and events necessary to recruit today's students.

eXpressPlan is the first web-based planner designed exclusively for college admissions officers, said TargetX CEO Brian Wm. Niles. "It enables schools to schedule, track and manage all their recruiting efforts, including printed pieces, online communications and events," he explained.

Activities and tasks can be laid out over the course of a year or longer. Everything gets assigned to the appropriate staff members, who receive regular email reminders. Managers have access to a realtime dashboard that keeps them up to date on all projects.

"This will help everyone who thinks their recruiting communications plan is getting to be overwhelming," said Niles. "And from what we hear, that's just about everybody in college admissions."

The unique tool allows the entire staff to follow the ever expanding and changing lineup of recruiting activities. "Finally, everyone in the admissions office will see the 'big picture' of what it takes to recruit a class these days," said Niles.
