Strategies and Associates Announces New Process Mapping Tools to Improve Job Performance

Share Article

Intuitive Process Mapping Tools help corporations improve job performance and consistently document core business processes in a way that is both compact and understandable.

Strategies and Associates announced today that it has created a unique set of documentation templates with job aids to help clients consistently document their key business processes and improve performance.

Developed while working with clients in the utilities and petroleum industries, the Process Mapping Tools evolved to include a Microsoft Visio process map template and a Microsoft Word narrative template with full macro capabilities. Each template comes with detailed instructions and can be customized with the client’s logo.

Government regulations increasingly require organizations to visually map their core business processes. Using Strategies templates, clients capture their processes through a straightforward and concise map accompanied by a detailed narrative explanation. Feedback from the U.S. Department of Transportation to a recent Strategies client was very favorable, especially with regard to the concise presentation of each process in a single page map.

Clients who have used the templates report an increased consistency in documentation formatting, reduction in the number of content errors, and improved turnaround time for completing documentation projects. The benefits of the maps and narratives are seen in their use as training documents, and more significantly as starting points for performance improvement projects.
