The Castle Group, Inc., an independent, award-winning public relations and events management agency, has expanded its global reach through partnerships around the world. The Public Relations Global Network (PRGN), an international association of 31 leading independent public relations agencies, including Boston’s The Castle Group, has added new members in China and Sweden.

WTM Marketing Management Service Co., Ltd. of Shanghai, and Coast Communications of Stockholm were accepted as full members at the organization’s semi-annual meeting. WTM (Win The Market) provides integrated marketing services to Fortune 500 companies seeking to reach the growing Chinese consumer market. Coast Communications specializes in the areas of public relations, investor relations and public affairs. The agency also works with affiliate agencies in Norway, Denmark and Finland.

“The addition of a new member in China was a top priority for the organization as we expand throughout Asia, while adding Sweden fortifies our already strong presence in Europe,” said Anne Buchanan, the newly elected PRGN president.

Formed in 1992, PRGN is comprised of 31 leading independent agencies based in major U.S. markets, South America, Canada, Europe, Asia, the Caribbean and Australia. Agency members are independent, owner-operated public relations and communications agencies sharing expertise and resources.

Clients of PRGN members include well-established regional, national and international companies and organizations. Clients of the network agencies benefit from shared expertise such as specialization in Hispanic culture and high-tech communications. They also benefit from the ability to access full-service, high-quality communications counsel and execution in every major U.S., Canadian, European, Australian, Central and South American market.

“With the PRGN network, Castle offers the strength of local knowledge combined with connections in both domestic and international markets,” said Sandy Lish, principal and co-founder of The Castle Group. “Our priority going forward is to continue building our overseas affiliate network to offer more resources to our clients. We are focusing on additional agencies in China, as well as Japan, Canada and other key locations.”
