Audiofy Corporation has obtained rights to release the Hayes Audio library on Audiofy Audiobook Chips, in an exclusive deal with the established audiobook publisher.

Storytellers such as Burt Reynolds, Catherine O’Hara, Jonathan Frakes, Margot Kidder, and the late Christopher Reeve, Jerry Orbach and Leo McKern narrate the high-quality recordings, along with productions dramatized by the Stratford Company.

“We’re excited about finalizing this special licensing agreement with Audiofy,” said Peter Nalle, president of Audio Holdings. “We love the platform, and the way Audiofy supplies a simple yet sophisticated digital audiobook solution for everyone.”

“We’re very happy to make this deal for the Hayes title list,” said Cartwright Reed, president of Audiofy Corporation. “We’re looking forward to putting this extensive and popular list of audiobooks on our chips.”

Audiofy Audiobook Chips play on a diverse array of computers, handheld PDAs and mobile smartphones that accept SD memory cards. This multiplatform support includes desktop and laptop computers running Microsoft Windows or Apple Mac OS X, Palm and Microsoft Pocket PC handheld PDAs, and Treo and Windows Mobile smartphones. Audiofy Audiobook Chip content can be transferred to Apple iPod media players with displays (excluding iPod shuffles) using Audiofy’s free ChipZip! beta software. During the Audio Publishers Association Conference this May in Washington, D.C., Audiofy announced forthcoming support for additional media players, including Microsoft PlaysForSure certified devices.
