Announcing the Power Washers of North America 2006 Community Service Program 'Clean Across America'

Members of the non-profit organization Power Washers of North America (PWNA) will be donating their services to communities all over the country again this July (24-31 2006) for their annual community service campaign "Clean Across America". Last year members from the organization donated over $50,000 in services nationwide.

Montgomery County, MD (PRWEB) June 29, 2006 -- The Power Washers of North America continue their commitment to communities in need again by donating power washing services in their community service program "Clean Across America". Currently the organization is looking for projects across the nation that need their expertise. Clean Across America (CAA) is an annual event where the members of the contractor’s association Power Washers of North America (PWNA) contribute their services to worthy community and charitable venues. These venues are chosen by participating members or suggested by community leaders or by members of the press.

In previous years PWNA members performed a variety of projects that ranged from small ‘one-man’ projects to large-scale projects and multiple projects. One example of this is Facilitec, http://www.facilitec-corp.com a PWNA member and one of the largest certified kitchen exhaust cleaning companies in the country. Facilitec did different projects in five states. Another example is Henry’s House Work, http://www.henryshousework.com which did several local projects in Maryland and also participated in a huge out-of-state project with other PWNA members to clean the Abner Doubleday Field Stadium in Cooperstown, NY. The majority of CAA projects are one-day jobs that are personally chosen by a local contractor. These projects usually have special meaning to the individuals involved, like the one selected by Scott McElroy (owner of Neptune’s Pressure Wash in Franklin, Wisconsin). Scott and his employees spent a day washing the Boy Scout HQ offices in Milwaukee. Scott is a volunteer Scout Leader who wanted to teach his young men what a being scout means in real life.

The Power Washers of North America is asking suppliers, manufacturers and contractors across the nation to get involved by donating materials or time to benefit local communities. Contact PWNA Headquarters today to see how you can help make our nations communities a little better. Plans are already underway at PWNA for several new projects this year. If you would like to suggest a possible project for consideration, please contact PWNA headquarters at 800-393-PWNA.
