Candy Bouquet of Branchburg, located at 1190 Route 28, directly across from Raritan Valley Community College is a welcomed sweet addition to the community. Owned by Karin Wessel, her location opened for business in November 2005. Opening a Candy Bouquet franchise is the culmination of long time passion for Ms. Wessel to start her own business. Prior to owning a Candy Bouquet, Ms. Wessel worked in the insurance industry for 18 years for such prestigious companies such as MetLife and AIG. After many years of creating stress for others with her financial and operational audit reports, it brings Ms. Wessel much pleasure to now create smiles and happiness with her beautiful candy arrangements, gift baskets and candy products. Ms. Wessel is celebrating this achievement with a Sweet Celebration tasting event on July 6th from 6-8pm at her store.
Ms. Wessel not only carries the distinctive bouquets made of candy that are the trademark feature of Candy Bouquet, but also promotes other unique and delicious product lines, including those of another local business woman. Ms Wessel is now featuring the products of Taste of Crete and La Dolce Gourmet in her store, which are companies, owned by Esther Luongo Psarakis of Bridgewater. Ms. Psarakis’s products will be sampled at the Sweet Celebration evening being held on Thursday, July 6th from 6-8pm at the store.
“This is a great event to participate in since we will be sampling all of my products and local folks will have the opportunity to try them out” states Esther Psarakis “My latest venture are my truffles under my new company, La Dolce Gourmet. I started this because I have always had a passion for fine chocolate. Having La Dolce Gourmet featured in Ms. Wessel’s Candy Bouquet is a great venue since the local community and candy and gourmet enthusiasts will naturally be drawn to her location for tasty treats and unique gifts”
During the Candy Bouquet Sweet Celebration Tasting, other products will be showcased and sampled. There will be drawings for prizes.
