Advanced Polymer Alloys Names Radonich Asia Pacific Regional Manager
John Radonich, a 35-year veteran of the plastics industry, has been named Asia Pacific Regional Manager for Advanced Polymer Alloys of Wilmington, Delaware.
WILMINGTON, Del. (PRWEB) July 14, 2006 -- Advanced Polymer Alloys today announced that John Radonich of East Brighton, Victoria, Australia, has been appointed Asia Pacific regional business manager.
A plastics industry veteran with more than 35 years experience, Radonich will be responsible for APA’s new market development and client services, including marketing and technical support, throughout the Asia Pacific region.
Advanced Polymer Alloys, a division of Ferro, manufactures a full line of Melt-Processible Elastomers™ (MPE), including Alcryn® Melt-Processible Rubber™ (MPR) and DuraGrip® TPE. Radonich worked to develop new markets for Alcryn MPR in the early 1990s when the material was still owned by DuPont. APA was spun off from DuPont in the mid-1990s.
“It’s no secret that the plastics manufacturing industry is seeing rapid growth in the Asia Pacific region,” said Jeff Senich, new business development manager for APA. “John’s experience in the region, expertise within the industry and knowledge of our products, gives us an advantage over our competitors in that market.”
“Current markets within the Asia Pacific region are set to explode, as consumers increasingly dictate their preferences to the OEMs,” said Radonich. “As those product designers, specifiers, and manufacturing personnel demand more from their materials, APA’s products become more valuable because they can deliver the specific performance characteristics customers demand.”
Before joining APA, Radonich worked for DuPont Australia where he held multiple positions over 25 years. Most recently he served as industrial development manager but had other career stops that included automotive programs manager, marketing manager for the engineering polymers division, and Refinish Southern Regional manager.
