Bono & Geldof... Please Executive Produce Atlanta’s 2007 Global “See-Peace” Concert

Greatly inspired by Bono & Geldof's historic LIVE-8 Concert (that generated ~3 billion televised-viewers) peacemakers in Dr. King's birthplace (Atlanta: City of Peace) invite B & G for a "redux."

Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) July 3, 2006 -- The Atlanta: City of Peace Initiative is announcing plans for its 2007 Global "See-Peace" Concert, an international event to greatly advance global peace. The goal is to observe the exact anniversary date of Dr. Martin Luther King’s world-famous speech: “I Have A Dream”, and also the 1st Anniversary of Bono & Geldof’s globally-successful LIVE-8 Concert. A Press Conference has been scheduled in downtown Atlanta for Noon - August 28, 2006 at “Phoenix Rising” Sculpture/ Woodruff Park (see Website for map).

“To our Global Family, we are announcing (one year in advance) the creation & planning of Atlanta’s 2007 Global 'See-Peace' Concert,” states John R. Naugle/Co-Creator. “We need Bono & Geldof, and everyone’s assistance (as ‘Co-Creators’) to recreate the great international success of their July-2005: LIVE-8 Concert. Bono & Geldof's historical and global event delivered a live-audience of 200,000+ in London, plus ~3 BILLION televised-viewers and a $50 BILLION annual commitment from G-8 countries to end poverty in Africa. Peacemakers of Earth, especially, please assist us with signing-on Bono & Geldof to attend our August 28th Press Conference to properly launch this historic global peace project!”

Many dignitaries from various parts of the US and internationally have been invited to the Aug. 28 press conference, including Bono, Geldof, and Sir Richard Branson.

Also invited are: President Bill Clinton, ATL-Mayor Shirley Franklin, Mike Eskew/UPS, Arun Gandhi (grandson), Dexter Scott King (Dr. King's son), President Jimmy Carter, GA-Governor Sonny Perdue, ATL's-Nobel Peace Prize Nominees: Senator Sam Nunn, Ted Turner, Dr. John Endicott, plus R.E.M., Peter Conlon, Louis D'Amore/IIPT, Dr. Jeffrey Sachs/UNMDG, Dr. Deepak Chopra/PWGC, Steve Leeper/MFP, Dr. Helen Caldicott/WAND-PSR-NPRI, Alice Lovelace/USSF, Dr. Cheryl Tarr/USDoP, James C. Kennedy, George Hirthler, Yael Oestreich.

"Bono & Geldof, will you PLEASE executive produce Atlanta's 2007: Global 'See-Peace' Concert? We know you're both going to eventually win the Nobel Peace Prize! So please allow us the honor of participating," proclaims Naugle.
