iLifeZone Announces Blog Re-Design Contest - Second Episode of the iLifeZone Podcast Now Available for Download
The iLifeZone podcast, a radio magazine-style show for Mac users, published its second episode today and announced a blog re-design contest.
Gig Harbor, WA (PRWEB) July 1, 2006 -- The iLifeZone podcast published its second episode today and announced a blog re-design contest.
The podcast is available free of charge at the iTunes Music Store. http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewPodcast?id=160070588
The initial iLifeZone blog was built using Google's Blogger by someone with no professional experience. We wanted to prove it could be done and we did. But we also know that someone with a better eye for design and a better understanding of web standards could do better. So here’s the deal. Fix our blog!
Here are the details. You must be a resident of the USA and at least 18 years of age to participate in this contest. You must re-design our blog so it runs on the Blogger platform and you must provide to us all the basic templated pages you see now as part of your re-design. We host our own server and the Blog must run on our server. And you must keep our existing logo, super hero and sponsor logos as part of your design. The winner gets more than $300 worth of prizes from our friends, partners and sponsors. We’ll also credit you with a link as our designer. If we pick your design, it will become property of the iLifeZone and Bourne Media Group. Your submission grants us the right to use your design and publish your work if we declare you the winner. All winners must sign an affidavit of eligibility which requires a copyright transfer and an affirmation that the design is their own and not the copyrighted work of any third party.
The deadline to enter your re-design is July 17, 2006. The winner will be selected by the iLifeZone hosts. All decisions of the judges are final. All taxes are the responsibility of the winner and there can be no prize substitutions. The winner receives:
1) One year subscription to lynda.com valued at $250.
2) One year subscription to Macworld valued at $20.
3) A copy of Scott Bourne’s Captivating Wildlife book valued at $30.
4) A gift certificate from Hunt’s Photo valued at $20.
5) $50 cash.
To enter a design, send a link along with all your contact information to info@ilifezone.com.
Void where prohibited by law. The winner’s name will be posted at the www.ilifezone.com web site on July 20, 2006.
