Taste of Chicago Presents Julia Huff

(PRWEB) July 1, 2006 -- Julia Huff will be performing on the Fox stage at the Taste of Chicago on Sunday, July 2nd. Huff, a female vocalist who has made quite an impact on the Chicago music scene in the last 5 years will once again bring her energetic performance back to the Taste where she has dazzled audiences for the last two years with high powered, energetic, and fun show featuring lively renditions of popular tunes from the 70’s, 80’s, 90’s, and today. She will be joined by a 14 piece band complete with strings, horns, and brass. Definitely an event not to be missed.
The favorable response to Julia’s past performances have made her one of the most sought after female vocalists in Chicago. She is quickly becoming a staple to the world of jazz and r&b. She has been compared to the likes of Sarah Vaughn, Carmen McRae, Tina Turner, and Gladys Knight and has brought her versatility and sophistication to stages throughout the U.S. and Japan. She is emerging as a major talent and will undoubtedly continue to do so. Future plans include performances in Europe and releasing her first recording.
