New York Attorney James Garbus and Chicago Real Estate Developer Robert Kroupa join together to enter the film production and entertainment industry
New York, NY (PRWEB) July 1, 2006 -- Garbus Kroupa Entertainment has financed and will serve as executive producer of two motion pictures “Save Me” starring Judith Light, Chad Allen and Robert Gant and “Dream Boy” based on the award winning novel by Jim Grimsley which are due for release in 2007. Garbus Kroupa Entertainment most recently financed and will serve as executive producer of the “Bobby Jones Comedy All Stars” a gospel comedy show performed live on June 11th in Atlanta, Georgia and thereafter released to the general public. Garbus Kroupa Entertainment is already at work on their fourth project slotted to close in June 2006.
James Garbus, a New York City attorney whose practice has brought him extensive experience in deal making particularly in corporate finance and mergers and acquisitions, has joined forces with Chicago real estate developer Robert Kroupa. The two men have come together to form Garbus Kroupa Entertainment.
Throughout his career, James Garbus has developed relationships with a variety of members of the entertainment industry in Los Angeles, New York City, Toronto and abroad including distributors, producers, directors, writers, managers, agents and talent. In the last two years he has formed motion picture production companies and has been developing motion picture projects for financing.
Robert Kroupa has been developing real estate in Chicago for the past eleven years. His success has allowed him to also focus on motion pictures his other passion.
A special reading of “Save Me” took place on Monday, June 12th at the Directors Guild of America in Los Angeles. This reading was held to benefit the Point Foundation.
