Prominent executive joins team advising VirtualAgility.

Washington, DC (PRWEB) July 3, 2006 -- VirtualAgility, the Boston-based software company, today announced that Patrick W. Gross of Bethesda, MD has joined its Board of Advisors. He is Chairman of the Lovell Group, a business and technology advisory and investment firm; he is an advisor to a half dozen venture-funded technology firms.

Mr. Gross co-founded AMS, a technology development and systems integration firm in 1970. He served as Principal Executive Officer and Managing Director of AMS until 2002. He is also a director of several public companies: Capital One Financial Corporation, Career Education Corporation. Mobius Management Systems, Inc., and Liquidity Services, Inc.

“Being able to draw on Pat Gross’s acumen and experience is a double advantage for us,” said Stuart Rudolph, president of VirtualAgility. “His knowledge of the systems integration market is vast and his guidance will be invaluable. He also brings an exceptional talent for helping companies succeed.”

For his part, Mr. Gross sees significant potential for VirtualAgility’s browser-based collaboration solution, which is already in use by federal agencies. “VirtualAgility will soon be the gold standard for enabling planning, action and coordination across jurisdictions,” he said. “In a world of solutions that centralize control, VirtualAgility’s user-optimized approach is unique and practical.”
