Master Animator Chris Georgenes Instructs Creative Pros in Flash Animation for DesignMentor Training

DesignMentor Training adds a sixth class to their roster of online Flash training programs—Flash Animation—taught by master illustrator/animator Chris Georgenes of Mudbubble.

New York, New York (PRWEB) July 5, 2006 -- DesignMentor Training (http://www.designmentortraining.com) announces the addition of master illustrator/animator, Chris Georgenes, to their roster of Flash trainers. Georgenes teaches Flash Animation, the final class in DesignMentor's comprehensive Flash Design Portfolio-Builder Program (http://www.designmentortraining.com/flashportfolio), where students learn character animation and techniques used to enhance any Flash design project. By using basic frame-by-frame techniques and tweening, Georgenes teaches students to draw and animate simple characters, add motion, drama, and expression. In Georgenes' online class students storyboard and animate a 30-second sequence with a soundtrack and bring their character to life.

“With advertising and entertainment moving to hand-held devices the opportunity to learn Flash from someone of Georgenes' stature is a unique benefit we offer students,” said Doris Granatowski, CEO DesignMentor Training. “His sense of humor and teaching skills generate rave reviews giving creative professionals access to a high-caliber, successful animator they wouldn't ordinarily have a chance to study with.”

In addition to teaching at DesignMentor Training Georgenes, based in Wellesley, Massachusetts, runs a firm named Mudbubble that specializes in animation for broadcast or the web. He has produced work for Adobe, Yahoo!, Digitas, Pileated Pictures, and Fablevision which can be previewed on his website http://www.mudbubble.com.

“I favor projects that push my own design and animation skills. The challenge is pulling it off and exceeding the client's own expectations. I use the same theories with my students by helping them generate skills while pushing their creativity and boundaries,” said Georgenes. “I will tell my client “Sure! No problem. I can do that.” without really knowing if I can. Pushing boundaries is what learning is about!”

Flash online classes start upon enrollment and students are able to complete work at their own pace and on their own schedule. Additional information on the Flash Animation program benefits and the five other Flash courses offered by DesignMentor Training can be accessed at http://www.designmentortraining.com/flash.
